Our organization is a free referral
service for Greater Houston's leading professional real estate
inspectors, engineers, and termite/wood destroying insect
inspectors. Our members are dedicated to performing quality
inspections with emphasis on the guidelines set out by the Texas
Real Estate Commission.
Most of our members have been in the
inspection business for several years and have preformed thousands
of fee paid inspections.
Our membership is not open to all
inspectors. Our membership is by invitation only. The executive
committee selects members after a qualifying application for
membership has been received and reviewed.
Requirements for a qualified
applicant include:
- The inspector will have performed a minimum of 500 fee paid
inspections.
- The inspector will obtain double the required amount
of continuing education as set out by the Texas Real Estate
Commission each year.
- The inspector will be in good standing with the Texas
Real Estate Commission and maintain a current license at all
times.
- The inspector will be a member of at least
two other professional inspection organizations to insure
information on inspection guidelines and changing inspection
techniques are maintained.
- The inspector will adhere to all guidelines set out by the
Texas Real Estate Commission while performing the inspection of
real property.
